Job Description
Our facility in Sainte-Catherine, Quebec (on the south shore of Montreal), is currently seeking an environmental services clerk responsible for planning the efficient use of equipment and regional staff—including drivers—to provide logistics services to internal and external clients. The person in this role will supervise several team members and ensure optimal efficiency and performance within their assigned territory.

Responsibilities
Ensure that health and safety are the top priority by complying with all workplace safety practices, policies, and procedures, and by always acting with caution
- Facilitate communication between drivers, the dispatcher, and the customer service team
- Assist in scheduling maintenance for equipment and vehicles subject to regular preventive maintenance, and plan any necessary additional repairs and/or maintenance as needed
- Provide the manager with information regarding compliance, maintenance, safety, and permits
- Ensure that drivers comply with federal and company regulations and policies
- Ensure that driver logs, vehicle inspection reports, and trip logs are completed daily
- Promote safety by ensuring that staff have appropriate personal protective equipment, work plans, and training, etc.
- Strictly adhere to all company operational guidelines and procedures
- Comply with all company operational guidelines regarding the environment, health, and safety
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong computer skills and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Ability to multitask
- Must pass a background check, drug screening, and medical exam, depending on the position
- Knowledge of leadership and management
