Examine the impact of the particular discipline on the whole learner; individualized instruction; theoretical framework and pedagogical implications; examination and interpretation of relevant curriculum guidelines. Develop programs, analyze, and apply specific teaching strategies and techniques unique to the discipline. Focus on evaluation procedures and techniques.

Salary will be based on student enrolment.

Master’s degree in education.

Specialist qualification in Special Education.

Recent experience in teaching full time in a school or working in administration for a School Board.

Two years experience of implementing the Ontario Curriculum in Special Education.

Confirmation of qualification update in Special Education.

Capability of applying the Ethical Standards and the Standards of Practice of the Teaching Profession.
