System One has an immediate need for a Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Associate for a strong client in the Charlotte area!


Shipping Orders

  • Putting together shelves, packing tables, paint the floor lines etc.

  • After the warehouse set up, the primary duties and responsibilities are the standard warehouse responsibilities such as pulling, packing and shipping orders, keeping the workplace clean.

  • We need someone with forklift experience ( sit down and stand up).

  • Pull inventory as specified on picking list for order(s).

  • Package orders to ensure that packaging meets customer requirements and ensure that shipments are packaged in such a way to prevent damage while in transit.

  • Ensure that all labels and documentation are attached as required by work instructions.

  • Complete Bill of Ladings with correct package and weight information.

  • Contact Freight Carriers for pick up.

Receipt of Incoming shipment

  • Verify shipment for damage upon receipt.

  • Break containers down as specified in work instructions.

  • Record shipment details and tag accordingly.

  • Route parts to applicable staging area for inspections/stock.

  • Load and Unload Freight Carriers and Small Package Carriers.

  • Maintain inventory of shipping materials and packaging.

  • Assist with inventory management to include cycle counts, physical inventory, etc.

  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of warehouse and equipment to ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times.

  • Improve the flow of product through the warehouse and work-cells.

  • Build a continuous improvement culture that constantly strives to eliminate waste and increase our value to customers. Focus on eliminating these 8 forms of waste: producing scrap, having to do re-work, over-producing, excess movement, wasting operator time, unnecessary steps in the process, excessive inventory.
