YOUR ROLE: Tech Lead

As a Technical Lead, you will assume a pivotal role in the software development lifecycle, leveraging your robust development skills and comprehensive knowledge of cloud-native best practices to lead a team of engineers in the design and development of modern applications that feature adaptive and responsive front-end UIs using react.js, as well as containerized .NET microservices hosted on a Kubernetes platform.

Your leadership skills will play a crucial role, as you will be expected to exemplify excellence in overseeing the entire application lifecycle. This will involve gathering requirements, designing the architecture, managing development, integrating solutions, and ensuring effective release management. As part of this process, you will be responsible for reviewing your team’s code to ensure it meets established quality standards.

In addition, you will be expected to cultivate strong relationships with clients by leading and collaborating with your team to develop cutting-edge cloud-native solutions. This will require your oversight of the development process from start to finish, including setting project timelines, managing resources, and ensuring that project milestones are achieved.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years designing, developing, and architecting cloud-native applications

• 5+ years prototyping, gathering requirements, troubleshooting, diagnosing, or supporting software development as part of a team

• 3+ years working with C#, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript

• 3+ years developing Single Page Applications using ReactJS (Preferably Enterprise scale development)

• 3+ years working on a .NET platform

• 3+ years of relevant experience with API concepts and technologies: e.g., REST, JSON, Swagger, SOAP/XML

• Strong communication and organizational skills with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced production deadline-driven environment both internal and client facing

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience

• Experience using Agile methodologies for developing applications

• Experience in creating project estimates, defining scope requirements, and structuring projects

• Ability to solve complex development problems and produce the highest quality code while striving to push the technical boundaries of online applications

• Ability to work quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy while adhering to W3C and accessibility guidelines

• You’re excited by the prospect of learning new technologies as needed

• Familiar with application security AuthN, AuthZ, SSO, OAuth, JWT

• Familiar with Cloud PaaS and SaaS services

• Familiar with SQL and Data Modelling experience would be an asset

• Cloud certifications with any major cloud provider: Google, AWS, or AZURE for Cloud Platform
