Systems Engineer in Ottawa, Ontario

Description:

The Systems Engineer will be a key member of an Avionics product development team responsible for the specification, integration, and verification (qualification) of new technologies for both military and commercial applications.

Project: Next-generation avionics modem.

Responsibilities:

• System design and requirements generation.

• Verification & Validation

• Design software and hardware specs for product qualification testing

• Represent Product Verification at design and test reviews

• Generate Test Procedures as required for product qualification and production testing

• Generate Qualification Test Reports

• Work closely with the software developers and hardware/FPGA teams

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience ideally.

• Systems Engineering experience (software and hardware requirements).

• Requirements gathering, analysis, definition, etc.

• DO-178 experience (desirable)

Nice to haves:

• Mil-Std-1553

• SAE ARP4761

• DOORS
