Salary: $17.20 per hour (To commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN compensation policy)

Closing Date: December 20, 2024Position Summary
Drs. Colella and Marzolini are looking for a Student, Admin Support (Research) to provide assistance with preparing documents for research grants, facilitating interactions with study participants, liaise with team members to facilitate team communications and other duties as outlined below.Duties

  • Collaboration with Interdisciplinary Team: provides assistance to the Leads and Team in preparing documents for research grants, may assist in preparing environment for conducting research activities with team members (recruitment planning schedule, keeping shared server and team resources updated, facilitating/planning research team presentations).
  • Assistance with Project Management: written and oral team communications, may assist with facilitating interactions with study participants, patient partners, graduate students and research team members for team project(s), may assist with study specific tasks, preparation of research ethics board submissions, renewals, orchestrating project tasks such as literature searches, data input and regulatory documentation.
  • Team Communication & Networking Event Planning: will liaise with team members to facilitate team communications (via email and in-person), booking of meetings and/or rooms or virtual hybrid meetings, contributing to planning, drafting agenda items and sending agenda to team members, meeting minutes, follow up communications regarding team activities, resources, contribute to conference planning with team.

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s program.
  • 3 to 6 months of administrative related experience is an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to set priorities, multi-task and work independently within a team with accuracy in a dynamic environment.
