About the Role:
This position is responsible for conducting global payroll and human resources data processing functions for salaried, hourly, union or commissioned personnel. Directly responsible for accurate and timely maintenance and audit of master file, payroll related transactions, payroll processing and delivery. Process special or exception items, including reversals, voids, deductions and quarterly/year-end payroll items.
What You’ll Do:

Coordinate timely and accurate regular payroll processing items, including on-cycle, off-cycle, commission and bonus items while maintaining strict confidentiality of information reviewed and processed.

Process incoming paperwork or documentation such as status changes, garnishments or employee/field initiated requests as directed by management.

Prepare, review and take appropriate action on audit reports to verify data integrity. Prepare ad-hoc reports using human resources information systems (HRIS) information.

Coordinate process and/or documentation as the need arises to fund payroll related deductions (government agencies, union dues, global payroll, etc.)

Research, validate and correct employee data in payroll system delivering a high level of quality customer service.

Work with department members, management and/or employees to identify issues and achieve timely resolutions.

Handle all overpayments and recoveries.

Test updates for payroll processing as related to assigned payrolls.
What You’ll Need:

High School diploma (Associates degree preferred) with a minimum of 5 years full service payroll experience, including multi-state payroll tax, garnishment and functional payroll processing experience required.

Finance/Accounting knowledge or experience required.

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) required.
-
Knowledge of payroll processes including data entry, pay calculations, tax and benefits, geographical location (state, territory, etc.) taxation rules, wage and hour laws, etc.

Basic knowledge of financial terms and principles.

PeopleSoft system knowledge required.

Third party payroll vendor and HRIS system experience desired.

Self-service/web based application experience desired.

Ability to use query and report generation tools.

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft applications.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. Payroll Analyst position is $75,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Sr. Payroll Analyst position is $100,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
