Job description

We currently have a full-time position available for a Social Media Coordinator based in one of our locations in New Brunswick or Nova Scotia.

This is an excellent opportunity for a team player with a can-do attitude in the workplace. The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for executing the marketing strategy regarding social media, merchandise, and graphic design. This role has excellent opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities and requirements:

· Coordinate the online presence of all businesses across multiple social media platforms for both promotional and brand management purposes, including corporate Facebook, Instagram, and other accounts

· Update website data, including inventory availability, promotions, and HR notices

· Apply expertise in graphic design tools to develop visually appealing, and engaging social media content, including texts, images, banners, videos, and other multimedia or graphic assets

· Cultivate relationships with potential customers through social media interactions, guiding them through the buyer’s journey and nurturing them into becoming leads

· Monitor social media metrics, track the performance of campaigns, and prepare regular reports to assess the effectiveness of social media efforts and identify areas for improvement

· Coordinate with third-party agencies/media partners

· Visit different company locations to capture high-quality content (photos and videos) for social media

· Coordinate participation in exhibitions and truck shows

· Various administrative tasks within the marketing department

Qualifications:

· College Diploma or University degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

· Experience in digital advertising (especially Meta Business Manager and Google Ads) is an asset

· Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role is a great asset

· Proficiency in using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Full Throttle) and photo/video editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva) is preferred

· Understanding of SEO, reputation management, social media, communications and marketing

· Passion for social media and staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages

· Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret social media metrics and use data to optimize strategies

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple companies, part of the group

· Flexibility to travel to different locations in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia on a regular basis

· Ability to work on tight deadlines

· Knowledge of new AI tools is a great asset

Schedule:

· Monday to Friday

· Same travel required

· Possible weekend availability

· Can be based at any of our locations in Atlantic Canada
