WorkHorse Labour Inc. is a rapidly growing, safety conscious full-service construction support company offering services from removing dirt to final unit cleans, and everything in between, to developers and general contractors throughout Southwestern Ontario. Working directly with our sister company, Builder Supply House, we were originally only a material supplier. We have now grown our services to include installation of our products as well as site labour management. Responsibilities:
· Install plywood backing as required
· Assist with other finish trades, Trim, cabinetry when needed
· Wood and steel framing and other carpentry requirements
· Operate and care for construction equipment and machines including bobcats, reach lifts, fork lifts, etc. if required
· Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding, safety railings and hoarding
· Follow instructions from supervisors
· Assist craft workers
· Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary
· Use power tools and machinery
· Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
· Other duties as required
Requirements:
· Must have a valid Ontario driver’s license
· Access to reliable transportation
· Be at least 18 years of age
· High school diploma
· Ability to do physical labour and other strenuous physical tasks (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds etc.)
· Ability to work in all weather conditions
· Commitment to following safety rules and regulations including those related to COVID-19
· Supply CSA work boots, hard hats and high-visibility clothing
· Must be punctual and reliable
· Good hand-eye coordination
· Communication and teamwork skills
· Strong work ethic, great attitude and commitment to success
· Experience as a general labourer in the construction industry is considered an asset
· Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus

Salary: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
