Course description:

Digital Humanities (DH) studies human culture — art, literature, history, geography, religion — using computational tools and methodologies, and at the same time studies digital technologies and communities through humanist lenses, as complex cultural objects shaped by wider social and political concerns and the ways we construct knowledge and meaning.

Class schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:00 to 5:00 PM

Sessional Lecturer I: $9182.42
Sessional Lecturer I, Long Term: $9641.55
Sessional Lecturer II: $9826.96

Sessional Lecturer II, Long Term: $10025.84
Sessional Lecturer III: $10060.93

Sessional Lecturer III, Long Term: $10262.15

Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.

Minimum qualifications:

Minimum Master’s Degree in a related field, teaching experience in Digital Humanities or a related interdisciplinary subject area at the university level required.

Preferred qualifications:
Ph.D. preferred.
