Position Description
The Department of Computer Science, within the Faculty of Science, invites applications for a Winter 2024 term Sessional Instructor.
The successful candidate will have responsibilities for instruction and associated duties for this 3-unit course during the Winter 2024 Term, including the supervision and direction of teaching assistants who instruct the tutorial sections.
Computer Science 233: Introduction to Computer Science for Computer Science Majors II
Introduction to problem solving, the analysis and design of small-scale computational systems, and implementation using a procedural programming language. For computer science majors.
Winter 2024 Term Dates: Tuesday, January 2, 2024 – Tuesday, April 30, 2024

Delivery Mode(s): Lectures offered on-line but may transition to hybrid/in-person.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have a minimum of an MSc in Computer Science or a closely related discipline with a PhD preferred. Preference will be given to graduate students and postdocs in our program looking to obtain teaching experience, followed by applicants with a postgraduate degree.
