Job Abstract
The Sentinels of Change Alliance brings collectively Hakai Institute scientists, College of British Columbia (UBC) scientists, and native communities to observe Salish Sea biodiversity at an unprecedented scale and backbone. The objective is to resolve our understanding of ecosystem processes to help the sustainable improvement and administration of the Salish Sea, which supplies important providers to a number of First Nations, Tribes, and communities. The event and implementation of this analysis program shall be shared between researchers at UBC and Hakai. Hakai scientists and Sentinels Analysis technicians will implement and preserve the neighborhood companion community and biodiversity monitoring program, offering a constant collaborative framework.
Organizational Standing
Technicians will help the Principal Investigators from UBC and the Hakai Institute in all components of the Sentinels of Change analysis program. The person will work together intently with a crew of technicians at UBC and the Hakai Institute, in addition to postdoctoral researchers related to the Sentinels of Change program. Technicians will work together with directors and employees from inside UBC and the Hakai Institute.
