What is the opportunity?
RBCx is hiring a Senior Video Editor / Motion Designer to join its Creative Team. This person must be able to edit videos, engineer audio, and bring stories to life through motion and animation.
What will you do?
- Creating and executing social video content, YouTube series, hype reels, case study videos, explainer videos, 30s spots, etc
- Bring storytelling to life through video editing, coloring, sound, and supers
- Adding visual interest through animation and motion graphics
- Bringing videos to life through audio engineering and SFX
- Collaborating with the creative team to storyboard and execute videos
Must haves
- 7+ years of experience working as a video editor & motion designer
- A portfolio that demonstrates your video editing and motion design skills
- Strong aesthetic skills and a demonstration of core principles with respect to typography, layout/composition, color, animation, and motion graphics
- Experience with audio engineering and SFX
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills are essential to articulate ideas, solutions, and recommendations
Nice to haves
- Experience as a videographer and cinematographer
- Experience lighting sets and environments
- Experience with audio capture and equipment
- Experience working in a start-up environment
- Experience working on brands in heavily regulated industries (finance, pharma, healthcare)
