Job Abstract The Workplace of Development is a high-performance college development group that achieves outcomes by inspiring others to offer Dalhousie College with the means to fulfill or exceed its objectives. Reporting to the Supervisor, Alumni Applications, the Senior Alumni Officer secures and cultivates engagement between Dalhousie College and its alumni.
Key Obligations
  • Help with the strategic growth, implementation, and ongoing analysis of alumni engagement packages.
  • Lead the administration of the alumni-to-alumni mentorship program.
  • Analysis, plan, and combine current and rising communications mediums into packages that may improve alumni engagement.
  • Collaborate with School-based Managers of Alumni Engagement and Donor Relations to make sure full integration of alumni engagement packages throughout all schools, colleges, and departments.
  • Present strategic steerage to Alumni Engagement Coordinators, School-based Managers of Alumni Engagement, Annual Fund and Improvement Officers particular to alumni engagement packages, and the way these packages will be leveraged to help attaining fundraising objectives.
  • Act as an advocate and ambassador for Dalhousie College.
