Scheduling/Payroll & Financial Software Support Job Detail

ComVida Corporation, a software company, is looking for a motivated individual with strong computer scheduling and effective problem-solving skills for this Helpdesk Support position. The ideal candidate will understand the job functions of a scheduling position such as: shifts, rotations, exchanging shifts, using text/voice/email for shift call outs. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

This is a regular 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

The principal functions of the job are to assist clients using the ComVida Employee Management Software and Financial Management Software.

1. Provide assistance and support to over 300 organizations across Canada.

2. Research, resolve, and respond to software-related questions and general inquiries.

3. Provide first-level support in accordance with ComVida’s Helpdesk Policies and Procedures.

4. Distribute knowledge and provide technical coaching/mentoring to:

a. Users via webinar training courses.

b. Other Helpdesk and corporate employees.

5. Monitor service requests assigned in the queue and process them based on priority.

EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES

1. Strong understanding of Staff Scheduling.

2. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

3. Payroll experience with union collective agreements.

4. Accounting (General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable) would be an asset.

5. Strong leadership, interpersonal, team, project/task management, and communication skills.

6. Ability to prioritize and multi-task, in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.

7. Ability to create and edit a wide variety of documents, including training courses and videos.

8. An enthusiastic, energetic, critical thinker, self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

CPA designation, CHRP, Project Management and/or Scheduling certificates would be an asset.
