Job Abstract
Serving clients, taking fee and making ready meals in meals service eating places, residences and stores.

Work Carried out

• Takes buyer meals orders at counter or at tables; prepares and calculates payments for fee.

• Enters buyer orders in pc or money register and accepts fee by way of money, meal plan card, bonus playing cards, vouchers, debit, or bank card; distributes change and receipts as required; and cashes out as per UBC Meals Companies insurance policies.

• Recommends meals stock ranges and calls in authorised orders; assists in sustaining stock.

• Assists cooks within the preparation of meals, akin to, meat, greens, desserts, pastry sandwiches, salads and specialty gadgets; parts, plates, wraps, and packs meals gadgets.

• Prepares made-to-order sandwiches; plates, parts and allotting meals to clients in a serving line in accordance with pre-determined UBC Meals Companies or franchise requirements.

• Units up service counter and replenishes provides on the market, guaranteeing applicable inventory ranges and correct inventory rotation in refrigeration, storage and counter show models.

• Busses tables and cleans tables, kitchen preparation areas, kitchen gear and seating areas.

• Assesses and ensures high quality of completed product previous to serving buyer.

• Performs the duties of different meals service staff on a reduction foundation as operationally required.
