Restora Health provides premium, concierge-style in-home wellness services, leveraging science-backed interventions to promote longevity and optimal health.
We are currently seeking a compassionate nurse with strong interpersonal skills to join their team, assisting with in-home IV vitamin and methylene blue infusions!QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY:
1. Registered Nursing License in good standing with the Provincial College of Nurses
2. Current CPR mandatory
3. Minimum 2 years experience as an IV Nurse OR Outpatient IV Services ** IV Certification is an Asset**
4. Vulnerable Sector Screen renewed within the year
5. Professional Liability InsuranceSKILLS & ABILITY:
1. High level of proficiency with Microsoft office applications, hospital software applications.
2. Ability to think critically and multitask in a high-pressure situation.
3. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member; establish and maintain
cooperative and collaborative working relationships with members of the interdisciplinary team, and
exercise judgment by participating in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of
client care according to college standards.
4. Behavior consistent with the clinic’s Standards of Performance.BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs according to the Standards of Professional Practice set out by the Provincial College of Nurses of and in compliance with the policies, procedures and standards of the facility
2. Accepts clinical responsibility and professional accountability for the care delivered to assigned
clients.
3. Participates as a member of the interdisciplinary health care team, fulfilling responsibilities as a
member of the nursing discipline.
4. Complies with The Ethical Framework for NursesSPECIFIC DUTIES:
1. Assessing clients for IV therapy needs, including vein selection and catheter size.
2. Monitoring for complications (e.g., infiltration, phlebitis, infection, fluid overload).
3. Flushing and maintaining patency of IV lines.
4. Troubleshooting IV access issues.
5. Educating clients and families about IV therapy and care.
6. Documenting all IV-related interventions and client responses.
7. Adhering to clinic protocols and infection control guidelines.
8. Using aseptic techniques for IV insertions and line maintenance.
9. Participating in staff training and education regarding IV therapy.
10. Maintaining knowledge of best practices and updates in IV therapy.
11. Carry out all work assignments safely and be knowledgeable of and in compliance with relevant
regulations, policies and procedures in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and its
regulations, as well as other legislation as applicable.CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT-Must comply with:
