Research Logistics Coordinator

Northern Therapeutics Inc. is a private Canadian biopharmaceutical company committed to the discovery and development of novel cell and gene therapies to extend and enhance the quality of the lives of people suffering from chronic life-threatening pulmonary disorders as well as acute illnesses.

We are presently seeking an experienced Research Logistics Coordinator to join our company to provide support for a multi- centre Canada-wide clinical trial on sepsis patients.

This is a remote full-time position and may require availability for work outside of regular business hours & possible travel.


  • Manages cross-functional aspects of project delivery.
  • Establishes and coordinates logistical arrangements related to scheduling, shipment, and inventory of study products for the trial.
  • Oversees and maintains trackers for manufacturing scheduling, deadlines, shipping schedules and product-related deliverables.
  • Provide support as needed to the Administrative Assistant with ordering, shipping, and receiving of existing clinical and lab supplies.
  • Coordinates document review and editing including release documentation for manufactured, batches, SOPs, and shipping orders/contracts.
  • Collaborate with external partners to complete stand-alone and/or project-related tasks to meet clinical study timelines.
  • Acts as liaison and/or primary contact between external vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications and Basic Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical research environment.
  • Previous experience in clinical trial drug supply.
  • Logistical coordination experience an asset.
  • QA experience an asset.
  • Outstanding coordination skills with internal and external customer service attributes and the ability to partner with multiple stakeholders.
  • Outstanding oral/written communication, time management and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and have strong attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Excellent capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Superior knowledge and demonstrated skills with Microsoft Office Suite (MSWord, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Resourceful with the ability to work with limited guidance and adapt to change in a positive manner.
  • Ability to work under competing demands and pressures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced administration skills with fluent English, both verbal and written. Working Bilingualism (working French) is an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects of moderate complexity in a highly virtualized team environment.

Remote in Canada

Salary Range:

$65,000 to $75,000 per year, commensurate with skills and experience.
