About the Organization | An integrated, collaborative, interdisciplinary vaccine research team, the Canadian Center for Vaccinology (CCfV) is committed to developing, implementing and evaluating vaccine technologies and vaccines for infectious diseases that have a significant impact on Canadian and global health and training experts in these critical and evolving fields. Job Summary | Reporting to the Social Science Project Manager Team Lead, the Research Associate is responsible for taking on a leadership role in supporting all aspects of the research studies, including some or all of the following: preparation of ethics applications, designing study materials, qualitative and quantitative data collection, data management and analysis, and the preparation of manuscripts, reports, and presentations. |

Note | The successful applicant may work on-site (Dalhousie, IWK Health Centre or other location), work remotely, or perform a hybrid of the two as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements. Dalhousie’s vaccine mandate has been suspended at this time, and employees no longer need to provide proof of full vaccination. However, health and safety risks to our community will continue to be monitored and a vaccine mandate may be reinstated if necessary. Additionally, as this position is in a clinical academic department possibly based within Nova Scotia Health facilities, NSH’s vaccination and other relevant workplace policies may apply. |
