OMS Montessori is seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Early Childhood Educator to work with children ranging in ages 18 months to 3. We are a leading non-profit Montessori school, with an enrolment of over 350 students from Toddler through High School.
The Montessori environment is well-equipped with core Montessori materials and has a Montessori Educator and three Assistants. Well-qualified candidates must be registered and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators, have experience working with children, display a strong commitment to teamwork, a knowledge and interest in the Montessori method and possess a strong sense of professionalism.
Applicants will have a deep respect for children, a positive attitude and kind heart, flexibility, and a good sense of humour. Montessori training is not necessary, though familiarity with the Montessori philosophy and a strong desire to support the Montessori Educator in its implementation is imperative.
