As part of your internship in the Public Affairs Canada team, you will contribute to the analysis of public policies, legislations and regulations having an impact on the company’s commercial success.
During your internship, you will be asked to perform the following tasks:
- Monitor parliamentary committees and prepare reports. Analyse public policies, programs, and bills and provide assessment.
- Draft memos and analysis pertaining to the company’s core interests for stakeholders.
- Attend meetings with stakeholders.
Ideally studying in one of the following programs, but not exclusively:
- Political Science
- Bilingual French and English, preferred
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Ability to work within short deadlines and under pressure
- Strong team player and good communicator
- Motivated and organized
- Autonomous and dynamic
