Job Description
The Oracle Design team works on a wide variety of products and services including Customer Experience (CX), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Financial Resource management (ERP), HR (HCM), Heath Care (Oracle Health) and more. This role is for the CX team – we are design Oracle’s Marketing, (https://www.oracle.com/cx/marketing/) Sales (https://www.oracle.com/cx/sales/) , Commerce (https://www.oracle.com/cx/ecommerce/) , and Customer Service (https://www.oracle.com/cx/service/) applications. We are looking for multi-faceted Principle Product Designers who design meaningful end-to-end experience, clever AI-enhanced interactions, holistic ecosystems, and high quality visuals based on a deep understanding of users and the complexity of their needs, tasks and objectives.
Principal Product designers at Oracle work on varied and complex projects and systems targeted to a professional audience. Typically, senior designers have 7-10 years of experience in product design or related field and a BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

What you’ll bring
-
7+ years of experience in UX or product design
-
BS or MS degree relevant to product design or a proven track-record in a relevant discipline
-
Portfolio demonstrating clever and beautiful user centered designs for products, applications and/or services. Experience in shipping (SaaS) applications is a plus.

Demonstrate approach and experience in gathering requirements, including user research, and defining objectives and opportunities for projects and assignments

Present (and defend) solutions, approach and choices made along the way

Excellence in using Figma to create and communicate concepts, wireframes and detailed design solutions

Responsibilities
Principal Product Designers are responsible for:

Building deep understanding of customers, business requirements, products and technologies.

Designing and envisioning concepts and e2e experiences that meet our customer’s needs

Leading design projects and guiding and mentoring junior designers

Adopt and extend Redwood (https://redwood.oracle.com/) design style guide, page patterns and components

Presenting concepts and detailed solutions sketches, wireframes, visuals and prototypes

Quickly respond and adapt designs to (customer) feedback and business requirements

Understanding design trends within the scope of the industry

Working with a wide range of media, including Figma
-
Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and timeline restrictions
Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
CA: Hiring Range in CAD from: $76,700 to $167,600 per annum.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
