To contribute to the professor’s CRC research program in stochastic dependence modeling. In particular, the postdoc will work on various statistical modeling and inferential issues related to multivariate and space-time extreme-value analysis, as well as on the implementation of solutions in applied contexts, notably in hydrology and environmental science. Moreover, the postdoc will help the professor to complete his ongoing investigation of the statistical properties of various strategies for group screening.
