Physical Literacy Specialist

Sportball invites energetic, enthusiastic, sports-oriented people to join our coaching team of physical literacy specialists.

Applicants should have participated in sports and have a passion for working with children. An educational background in Kinesiology, Early Childhood Education, Recreation Management, Physical Education or Personal Training is helpful but not required.

Sportball is a non-competitive sports instruction program that introduces children between 16 months and 12 years to fitness and the skills associated with eight different sports (soccer, hockey, football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, tennis and golf).

Candidates should be comfortable coaching younger children including toddlers as many of our programs focus on this age group.

All coaches are provided with comprehensive initial training as well as ongoing training and support in Sportball methodology and program delivery.

• Personal Transportation is required.
• Positions are permanent part-time year round
• Location: Truro
• Time: Weekdays/Weekends 8am-7pm

Salary: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
