Your expertise will also ensure smooth transitions between care settings for our patients. Our dedicated technicians and assistants handle drug distribution, allowing pharmacists to focus on clinical practice and spend more quality time engaging with patients on the clinical units. As an added benefit, we offer our pharmacists a supplemental hourly allowance of $4.94, up to $10,000 annually. In addition, we also offer a remote retention allowance of up to $3,000 annually, enhancing our competitive overall compensation package. Description:

As a Pharmacist I, you will be responsible for the safe, effective and efficient preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical services. You will manage medication therapy for patients, both initially and on an ongoing basis. In addition, you will provide assessment, intervention and resolution of potential or actual drug-related problems and oversee activities related to compounding and packaging.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Additional prescribing authorization (or obtained within 1 year from date of hire).

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior interdisciplinary team experience is an asset. Ability to work effectively both in a team environment as well as independently. Ability to use evidence-based medicine in direct patient care.
