Job Summary A warm, engaging and organized nanny is needed for a loving family in the Beaches. The family is looking for an experienced and educational focused nanny who can care for their two children ages 1 and 5 years. Duties would include picking the children up from daycare/meeting them at the bus stop, feeding the children dinner and helping with clean up. On the later nights the nanny would be responsible for conducting the children’s bedtime routines. We are looking for someone with a drivers license and French speaking is an asset but not a deal breaker. Availability for occasional travel would be ideal. Location: Woodbine and Lakeshore E Child’s age: 1 year old and a 5 year old Start Date: June 30, 2025 or earlier Contract length: Long term but 1 year contract to start Schedule: 3 days a week from 3:00pm-6:00pm and 2 days from 3:00pm-8:30pm (20 hours per week) There is potential for more hours for the right candidate (up to 30 hours per week) Hourly Rate: $25-$30/hour gross Responsibilities Provide attentive and responsible care for children in a safe and nurturing environment. Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as imaginary play, games, crafts, and educational play. Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children, ensuring they receive proper nutrition. Experience with baby led weaning an asset Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the children’s care, such as, laundry, tidying up after meals, loading and unloading the dishwasher and cleaning up play areas, bedroom etc. Conduct the children’s daily routines and schedule include dinner, bath and bed routines Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding the child’s daily activities, progress, and any concerns that may arise. Requirements/Qualifications 5+ years of Nanny experience in a private home 5+ years of experience working with children Experience with baby led weaning an asset Occasional flexibility to travel with the family an asset French speaking an asset Ability to provide a safe and secure environment for children. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both children and parents Valid drivers license required Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude when engaging with children. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
