WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Global Online Data and Insights Senior Manager to drive a data-driven approach to our Brand.com to support our Online, Media, Brand, Digital Product and Finance teams in analyzing our consumer trends to maximize value.
As the Online Data and Insights Senior Manager, you will be responsible for working cross-functionally to develop insights to drive key metrics such as conversion, new consumer acquisition and retention efforts. You will be the company expert on how our global consumers are engaging with our site and identifying growth opportunities, uncovering business opportunities and generating increased revenue from our customers. By leveraging your experience, you will use existing and new data sources to evaluate our marketing programs, suggest areas for improvement and help support teams with new insights and tracking. You’ll provide actionable insights to develop stronger connections between our consumers and the brand.
This role will be based out of our Toronto Head Office.
WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
- Be the company expert on all key metrics for our Brand.coms, leverage insights of marketing analytics to guide commercial, marketing and customer experience strategies
- Analyze web traffic, site behavior, merchandising and promotional programs, marketing campaigns, product performance, channel performance, etc., analyze ROI impact of site features, enhancements and traffic-driving initiatives
- Maintain an awareness of competitive information and key industry trends to provide context for improving performance. Research and suggest new approaches to analyzing information and identify ways to create a 360-degree view of customers that integrates transactional and purchase behavior with consumer research
- Define customer lifetime value and optimize recommendations for future offerings by designing an end-to-end view of each customer segment that will define our current & future LTV
- Integrate customer analytics, market and competitive insights and analytics to support marketing strategy planning and promotional effectiveness and combine quantitative insights with qualitative consumer feedback from surveys, customer service, etc. to derive actionable insights
- Extract, aggregate, and maintain the weekly/period KPI’s reporting to multiple stakeholders. Build dashboards and reports to enable various functional teams make better, more informed decisions and be able to evaluate their performance
- Build a multi-year analytics roadmap specific to supporting the marketing organization and review and implement attribution in an omnichannel space (offline and online) and ensure it reflects the global nature of our business
- Build and operationalize data into reporting platforms for stakeholders via ad hoc and automated reports from multiple data sources
- Manage and provide accessible insights using various visualization software at multiple timeframe cadences
Collaborate with data insights team on building robust data warehouse solution; participate in the development of the data models for e-commerce; provide input for designing curated company-wide single source of truth
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- 5+ years eCommerce experience with a strong understanding of business-driving KPIs and at least 3 years of in-depth digital analytics experience required, global cross-brand and large portfolio preferred
- Proficiency with Online Analytical tools: Google Analytics 4, Power BI, Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Strong hands-on quantitative, analytical, problem-solving skills with an advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and macros
- Extremely proficient in analyzing and interpreting data, and being able to synthesize information from a variety of sources and translate into actionable recommendations in a concise manner
- Commitment to learning new technology, techniques and processes, Solid project management skills required, expert at storytelling with data to audiences of varying degrees of data literacy including senior leadership
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in marketing, statistics, analytics, or equivalent. Masters degree a plus, Experience with SAS, SQL, and BI tools a must and experience with data modeling a plus
