|About the Organization||CERC.OCEAN is a dynamic research group in ocean science and technology at Dalhousie University. CERC.OCEAN is a world-class research program established to observe, understand, and predict biogeochemical and ecological change in the ocean. |Job Summary||Reporting to the Group Lead, the Ocean Engineering Technologist will gain experience with a wide variety of practical skills and equipment deployments at sea. The Ocean Engineering Technologist will work and cooperate with, a team of scientists, technologists, and engineers to advance ocean research using in situ sensor platforms. The work will include the development and field deployment of surface vehicles, buoys, and moorings.|
|Note||Occasional international travel may be required. Flexible working hours will be required.
Due to operational requirements, the successful applicant is required to work in-person on campus.
