The Microsoft Power Apps Developer plays a crucial role in helping the organization create, manage, and optimize Microsoft Power platform solutions effectively. The role will take the lead in designing efficient, user-friendly solutions to enhance business processes. The position also requires working with the Quality and Security to comply with all required IT Audits, tracking and documenting change control as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Development:
Build custom applications and workflows to enhance business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
Build and design Microsoft Sharepoint Online sites.
Create and execute test plans.
Process Analysis:
Collaborate with business analysts and Functional experts to understand and improve business processes.
Manage internal customer relationships, capturing and analyzing customer needs and clearly communicating proposed solutions and status of ongoing projects.
Design:
Responsible for leading the design of high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
Design solutions with security, user roles and audit logs as needed.
Propose Power Platform Environments and Sharepoint Online site topology using best practices.
Deployment:
Use Microsoft deployment best practices for deploying solutions ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
Work closely with business groups to support their ability to self-manage SharePoint Online sites where practical.
Support:
Troubleshoot Sharepoint and Power Platform issues.
Resolve user tickets.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed technical documentation and user guides.
Collaboration:
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions.
Comply with regulatory and IT best practices for the documentation of changes and configuration management.
Qualifications
- Software Development experience with Sharepoint Online
- Designing and delivering Microsoft Power Platform solutions, with a focus on Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Expertise in migrating legacy on-premise SharePoint versions to SharePoint Online using Sharegate, or equivalent migration utility, including data, permissions and custom solutions.
- Experience with SharePoint Workflows, including custom workflows using SharePoint Designer
Skills and Competencies
- 10 years Experience administering, managing & deploying Business applications
- 5+ years Experience with Microsoft Online configuration and administration
- 3+ years Experience with Microsoft Power apps and Power Automate development
- 3+ years Experience in Sharepoint Online development
