Training Manager to head up a new team in BC.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver educational materials for process/tech updates and help cascade the information to necessary teams across the organization.
  • Gather and analyze information to design, develop, and deliver new training programs that are efficient and effective, while having a positive impact on the organization.
  • Present course material to employees through a traditional classroom approach, one-on-one coaching, as well as other methods, while using PCs, instructional videos, overheads, written materials, and other forms of presentation.
  • Must always keep the mission of quality as a first priority, while ensuring that appropriate legislative rules and regulations are followed.
  • Monitor training systems and advise team leads on system performance.
  • Must be able to emphasize the importance of adhering to and/or surpassing customer expectations in the fulfillment of work projects.
  • Promote and advocate the concepts of peak performance and self-improvement across the organization.
  • Generate positive attitudes and high morale in employees by nurturing a culture of cooperation and enthusiasm.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree Education.
  • Must be well versed in training procedures that enhance the retention of the trainees or similar.
  • Minimum of two years of direct work experience as at least a head of department.
  • Direct experience assessing training needs, creating training materials to fulfill needs, and delivering training.
  • Excellent at creating high-quality presentations using a variety of technologies (e.g. WebEx, Microsoft PowerPoint, LCD projectors, etc.).
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of learning.
  • Excellent listening, observing, and questioning skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed, excellent multitasker, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluent English speaker
  • Knowledge of motivational, perceptual, and emotional forces and how they affect the learning process.
  • Knowledge of Google Suite programs (sheets, docs, drive, forms).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
