Maintenance Technician/Painter Job Detail

We are currently searching for an energetic Maintenance Technician/Painter to join our St. John’s maintenance team. This position would entail mostly painting with some general maintenance responsibilities . This is an exciting and challenging position in a growth-oriented organization. If you are a team player with proven ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment this be the opportunity for you.
- Exterior/interior residential painting
- Sanding and preparing surfaces for painting
- Plastering, crack-filling, drywall installation
- General maintenance
- Maintain work area in a clean organized manner
- Ensure health & safety and environmental compliance in all activities
- Be able to complete projects in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned
- 1-2 years’ experience in similar role
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work as a team, and also under minimal supervision
- Effective, proven skills and experience
- Ability to refinish hardwood flooring would be an asset
- Must have own vehicle
