Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking applications for Labourers in Edmonton

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work area.
  • Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
  • Keep work areas and equipment clean and safe.
  • Mop, brush, or spread paints, cleaning solutions, or other compounds over surfaces to clean or protect them.
  • Operate power tools on occasion.
  • Follow instructions from crew lead hand and foreman.
  • Assist with a variety of tasks including stripping concrete, carrying lumber, digging, raking and setting up scaffold.
  • Working both indoors and outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions
  • Working in and around noise and dust
The successful candidate must possess the following skills/attributes:
  • Experience with commercial construction as a labourer
  • The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
  • Able to work with their hands and safely operate power tools and equipment run by gasoline, diesel, electricity, and compressed air
  • CSTS-09 Ticket, WHMIS 2015, Fall Pro and EWP Training
  • Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work.
  • Must be organized and self-driven
  • Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
The successful candidate must be able to produce a negative result on a drug and alcohol screening test and complete a mask fit test.
