For over 20 years, we have studied and customized hundreds of custom membrane applications for separating solvents, and most of them have a payback period of less than 2 years! This Senior Process Engineer position is an opportunity requiring a wide range of skills and experience encompassing all phases of plant engineering design and operation.

Position Summary:

The Junior Process Engineer will participate in designing, developing and implementing new processes and technologies. They will assist on feasibility studies, FEED, detailed engineering projects, procurement, fabrication, construction, and startup. Travel to vendor workshops for FAT and project site for SAT. This position will provide a unique opportunity to develop skills in all areas of process engineering.

Highlights of Responsibilities include:

  • Work independently or in a team for completing studies and detailed engineering projects;
  • Participate in Equipment sizing (i.e. Heat Exchanger, Distillation Columns, Mixing and Adsorber);
  • Draft Hydraulic Calculations (Line Sizing, Pump Sizing, PSV, Control Valve sizing);
  • Participate in Heat and mass balance preparation;
  • Draft and review process design criteria, PFD and P&IDs as a basis of the process design;
  • Participate in HAZOPs;
  • Familiar with PLC/DCS control systems;
  • Support commissioning and start-up programs;
  • Write detailed engineering reports and briefs;
  • Participate in project cost estimates;
  • Participate in field engineering assignments;
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure a timely and accurate flow of design information, while ensuring departmental and client standards are maintained;


  • Must have 3+ years of process engineering experience.
  • EPC environment experience would be an asset.
  • University degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
  • Strong communication skills for interactions with vendors, customers, internal departments and cross functional teams.
