Position Summary
The IT Anaplan SR. Business Analyst position reports to the IT Anaplan Architect and is responsible for providing systems support to all Anaplan system/functional areas in the North America. The IT Anaplan SR. Business Analyst is responsible for, analyzing, trouble shooting, implementing and documenting new/existing Anaplan Modules.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Support for Organization wide implementation of Anaplan with focus on End to End Supply Chain including but not limited to Demand, Supply and Procurement Planning
  • Identification of business requirements, functional and technical design, prototyping, testing & training business users

    • Working closely with the Anaplan Architect
    • Analyze customer needs, design, configure, and test customer solutions
  • Work closely with Business, Supply Chain, External Consultants, JDE and IT teams to ensure Supply Chain implementation using Anaplan is Best in Class, scalable and sustainable with in house capability to support enhancements and changes
  • Assist with production support with the help of development team issues as required
  • Maintain effective working relationships with team members
  • Contribute to project and team documentation

Systems Support & Help-Desk
  • Provides functional support/Training to users at all sites
  • Uses ITBAR (Help Desk) tools to keep track of ITBAR (Help Desk) calls and resolution.
  • Works with users to develop / enhance processes to improve user productivity
  • Works with peers, IT, business community, and external partners
Key Competencies and KPIs
  • Educated to degree level ( IT, Supply Chain, MFG; Business, Finance )
Experience/ Background
  • Broad business and Supply Chain background spanning cross-functional areas
  • Experience in supporting, implementing or using technologies like Anaplan, JDE or other integrated decision support technology solutions
  • Experience in business process leadership, including system design, technology selection, and/or implementation/use of technology to support a key business process
  • Proficient data analytics and modeling skills
  • Strong system analysis/design and implementation experience
  • Experience documenting system requirements and functional specifications
  • 5+ years of Supply Chain, Technology & Data Analytics experience with focus on End to End Supply Chain solutions, Predictive analytics with focus on Anaplan as planning platform
  • Anaplan Architect Certification with proven experience of having operated as a certified Anaplan Architect will be preferred
  • Anaplan Model Builder Level 3 and The Anaplan Way Certified
Skills/ Competencies
Functional Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Anaplan software – techno/functional
  • Experience in SQL a strong plus
  • Experience in Power BI, Hubble
  • Experience in JD Edwards version 9.2 or similar
  • Strong Supply Chain experience ( Demand Planning, Supply Net Consolidation, Production Planning , Production Scheduling, Dispatch Planning)
  • Experience with Anaplan project implementations

  • Excellent inter-personal and facilitation skills to relate to users, peers and upper management
  • Experience dealing directly with all management levels

Availability to travel: up to 15% of time
