Key Responsibilities
- Instructional responsibilities include classroom, lab and field trip instruction, lecture and lab preparation and marking
- The ideal candidate would have instructional and/or industrial expertise in the following areas: ecology, botany, plant community assessment, range management or forestry and land stewardship.
- Familiarity with common techniques for land management within Western Canada is essential. The ideal candidate should have a strong connection with industry and NGOs to ensure the program maintains relevancy to current trends and practices
Job Requirements
- A prospective candidate would have a bachelor’s degree leading to a master’s degree Plant or Environmental Science or a closely related discipline. Candidates close to completion of a MSc. or PhD would also be considered
- Registration or eligibility for registration with a professional organization such as the AIA or ASBP would be an asset

This is a Continuing Full-time appointment at the Vermilion Campus commencing August 1, 2023. Lakeland College offers an attractive pension, remuneration, and benefit package.
