This job entails overseeing a region’s leadership responsibilities, advising business leaders on strategy, managing profit and loss for designated countries and businesses, developing and executing regional strategic plans, ensuring compliance and industry best practices, collaborating with senior management for growth opportunities, and optimizing finance service delivery. The role involves liaising with various internal stakeholders, providing financial leadership, streamlining operations, and fostering talent development. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong financial acumen, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.

The Role

  • Leadership responsibility over a region;

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing guidance and insights on business strategy, market trends, and competitive intelligence;

  • Own P&L management for respective countries/cluster & businesses (revenue, expense, profitability);

  • Develop and implement a regional strategic business plan for the organization, ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategy;

  • Deeply involved in daily decision-making on regional revenue and expense management actions and identifies opportunities for improvement

  • Collaborate with senior management to identify opportunities for growth and development of the organization;

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices;

  • Engage and partner with the WTW FoF Transformation Program to drive an optimized segment/region finance service delivery organization that will deliver enhanced value in terms of financial reporting, analysis and controls;

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including underwriting, claims, finance, and legal teams, to ensure a cohesive approach to business operations;

  • Engage and partner with Corporate FP&A to support business financial. Monitor key performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior management on business performance and trend

  • Responsible for managing key business relationships with key stakeholders within Finance and the Business

  • Provide insights and strategic support to business, supporting them with efficient and effective decision-making, leading to growth in the business

  • Provide financial leadership across finance and business to set clear achievable goals

  • Provide leadership oversight to identify opportunities to streamline and improve business operations

The Responsibilities

  • Understands and anticipates clients’ business and financial needs, builds relationships and provides clear and thoughtful insights and leading-edge solutions/services as a trusted, strategic finance business partner

  • Understands, analyses and evaluates relevant financial information and data. Draws logical conclusions and makes recommendations based on objective evidence.

  • Strong understanding of company performance including how to budget, plan, forecast and report performance and analyze variance. Is able to lead and work with teams to run the performance cycle, provide review and challenge, drive insight and define corrective actions when required so that the business leadership can meet their financial objectives

  • Maintenance of a strong internal control and business ethics environment;

  • Development of leaders and talent in the organization and developing people across the Business Finance group;

  • Provision of clear guidance on industry trends based on key performance metrics to fuel business growth across countries/segments;

  • Provision of effective communication with teams both internal(underwriting, claims, finance, and legal teams) and external (including brokers, reinsurers, and vendors) stakeholders producing external and statutory reporting

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $90,000-$120,000 USD.

This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
