ESL Instructor

Job Summary

VGC is an accredited institution in downtown Vancouver which has been delivering ESL programs for over 17 years. We provide our teachers and staff with a great work environment where hard work and dedication to work performance are rewarded.

If you hold a degree, and a TESL/TESOL certificate and would like to be part of a hardworking, dynamic and diverse team, we would like to hear from you. We are looking for TOC and permanent staff.

Experience is preferred, online TESOL courses will not be considered. DELTA and IELTS examining and EAP experience a bonus.

Classes are delivered Monday to Friday, starting at 8:45. This is a set schedule.

Responsibilities and Duties

Main responsibilities include:

Planning for and delivering dynamic classes to a variety of levels

Administering and grading tests

Completing all necessary day to day administration required by the school (recording attendance, test results etc.)

Qualifications and Skills

Successful candidates must be located in Vancouver and must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree and a TESL/TESOL Certificate.

DELTA and examining experience is a bonus.

Both newly qualified and experienced teachers welcome.
