Full Job Description

The Best Part Inc. is a film and TV production company with offices in Toronto and Los Angeles. Started in 2009 the company’s principal activity is to develop, produce and market commercial films and TV projects. Our eclectic team of financiers, researchers, filmmakers and field experts are dedicated to producing exceptional content that entertains and informs viewing audiences across all mediums.

The company will be releasing a feature length documentary this spring entitled “Designer Sh*t” (see website for exact name). The film follows director Saffron Cassaday, who, in an effort to cure herself of inflammatory bowel disease, sets out on a quest to learn more about a mysterious (and disgusting) new treatment known as Fecal Microbiota Transplant (FMT). Along her journey she meets with leading researchers and DIY enthusiasts to piece together a fascinating portrait on the power of the human gut and the role it plays in our health, our minds and possibly even our physical appearance. From finding a suitable stool donor, to successfully administrating countless transplants of what scientists are now referring to as “brown gold”, this investigative documentary explores with honest curiosity what might just be the new frontier of natural medicine.
