As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Director of Manufacturing to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Manufacturing to lead our manufacturing operations, ensuring that we maintain the highest quality standards while maximizing efficiency and profitability. The successful candidate will have a strong background in printing and packaging, a proven track record of leadership, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, quality control, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, ensuring a reliable supply chain and effective cost management.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Engineering, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of objectives.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
  • Develop and manage an annual manufacturing budget, making data-driven decisions to improve profitability and support company growth.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and empowering employees to take ownership of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor manufacturing staff, providing regular performance feedback and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, ensuring that Our client remains at the forefront of the printing and packaging industry.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the printing and packaging industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale manufacturing operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive positive change.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software, ERP systems, and manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.
