Why This Role is Important:
Over the past few years, the PC Services arm of PC Financial has put critical business and operational pieces into place to accelerate business growth and meet online customers’ demands in their purchase journeys. Now, PC Services is looking to accelerate our digital marketing efforts to fuel the growth and usage of our online experiences for our portfolio of businesses (Telecom, Insurance and Gift Cards). We’re looking to add a paid media subject matter expert to champion the buildout of our performance-focused digital marketing programs. We operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where new insights and innovative ways of working are more than welcome!
The focus of this role centers around ownership of the performance of all paid digital channels. Reporting to the Director of Marketing – PC Services, you will influence the current strategy and help to define and prioritize the program evolution roadmap to primarily support digital acceleration. Channel, targeting, creative and data strategy, combined with platform know-how, will help us to continue to evolve toward meeting customers in their moments and reinforcing our position in the market.
What You’ll Do:
  • Be an owner! Champion the paid media vision for our businesses. Constantly look for ways to improve. Test, learn, and share data-driven insights that lead to new opportunities.
  • Guide the overall PC Services paid media acquisition strategy to achieve sales targets, by optimizing channel performance plans using analysis and historical results.
  • Act as the paid media subject matter expert and lead on making recommendations on how best to optimize our media model, adhere to best practice, test & learn, and sustainably improve performance.
  • Own, build and optimize paid prospecting programs on platforms like Google and Facebook to align to go-to-market strategies and support critical opportunity moments along the customer journey.
  • Be the prime for our 3rd party media partners to plan and implement our paid media plans. Bring recommendations for new in-platform opportunities that can help us grow.
  • Work closely with our internal teams to improve opportunities with first party data.
  • Build and present paid digital sales reports and deliverables with specific recommendations to increase return on ad spend across all lines of business.
What You Bring:
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing or Business
  • Ideally, proficient within both Google and Facebook platforms, with accompanied certifications.
  • 3-5 years’ experience working on performance marketing programs
  • Ability to identify, diagnose and develop solutions for problems and issues that arise in projects and programs
  • Eagerness to learn, grow and roll up your sleeves to bring plans to life
  • Ability to manage, prioritize and deliver/complete multiple tasks, projects and assignments effectively
  • A strategic and creative approach with proven experience in assessing and drawing insights from business data, research studies, and campaign analytics to optimize performance and execute on innovative opportunities
  • Strong understanding of the complexities of the digital landscape and how to optimize emerging digital marketing trends and tactics
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with ability to partner effectively with leaders and stakeholders
