Responsibilities
About the role: As a main point of contact to various department areas, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders to understand their unique challenges, objectives, and reporting needs. You will be responsible for designing sophisticated dashboards and presentations that translate complex data into clear, actionable, visually appealing insights. You will also provide innovative solutions and recommendations that maximize operational efficiency and uncover hidden trends, opportunities, and risks.
What you will be doing:
- Perform data mining using SQL, SAS, Cognos, Salesforce, and/or Excel via Enterprise Data Warehouse and Azure Cloud
- Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to track Key Performance Indicators
- Analyze operational and performance metrics to identify process inefficiencies, optimize workflows, and enhance productivity
- Lead and facilitate cross-departmental meetings to obtain requirements, provide updates, and follow up on action items
- Act as point person for data-related requests with internal departments, GMF Texas, and GM Oshawa
- Support new projects, initiatives, and testing requirements
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements

Fluency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, statistical software

Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
Experience:
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in data analysis, data mining, statistic, and forecasting and loan portfolio analysis
- Automotive Finance, Data Reporting and Analytics, Leasing or Retail Finance experience preferred
- Experience with Cognos, SAS, Salesforce and Excel dashboards preferred
- Post-secondary degree or diploma required.
