As a Credit Analyst with Convera based in Toronto (hybrid role), you will be responsible for credit assessments of new clients and review existing customers to establish and assess the provision of acceptable credit terms in accordance with Converas company policy

You will be responsible for:

  • Provide written credit assessment of new clients in a timely manner and within established SLAs.
  • Conduct annual reviews on Convera clients’ credit position.
  • Ensure a high standard of written credit assessment.
  • Assist with ad hoc project works as directed by the Credit Manager.
  • Assist with reporting requirements as directed by Credit Manager.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service to internal and external parties.

You should apply if you have:

  • Previous commercial credit risk experience gained looking at corporates and SMEs.
  • Good organizational skills with ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of and ability to interpret Financial Statements.
  • Computer literate (intermediate Skill in Word and Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to make sound decisions in a timely manner after systematically considering all possible outcomes.
  • Ensure that report writing is accurate, diligent, and analytically thorough enough to justify either personal decision making or when making proposals to final Credit Risk Approvers
  • The willingness and ability to work cooperatively with others and across functions towards common objective.
  • Exemplary time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with all levels (Dealers and Senior Management).
  • Fluency in English is required, and fluency in French highly desired.
  • Applicants need to have the right to work in Canada.
  • Experience gained in a large financial or regulatory organization.
  • Understanding and exposure to Foreign Exchange and/ or Global markets.
