The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. Position summary

Under the direct supervision of the principal investigator and project manager, we are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team working on Cardiac MRI research. The incumbent must be familiar with the entire clinical trial process and be able to coordinate these studies.

General Duties

– Ensures project timelines and patient enrollment goals are achieved.
– Coordinating patient recruitment and study procedures
– Identifying eligible participants (Chart review)
– Scheduling study visits.
– Explaining and reviewing informed consent form with participants.
– Completing case report forms and questionnaires with participants.
– Organizing biological specimen collection.
– Timely completion of all study documentation forms, including case report forms (CRFs), queries and other study specific documents.
– Maintaining and updating study regulatory binders.
– Attending relevant departmental meetings or rounds to increase knowledge and understanding.
– Work directly with the Principal Investigator, the research team and collaborating laboratories/co-investigators at the study site to ensure the smooth running of all the clinical aspects of studies,
– Other responsibilities may include but are not necessarily limited to:
– Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by supervisor, including supporting and supervising other coordinators and research staff members,
– Data entry and data management.
– Helping the MRI technologists with patient preparation procedures at the MRI scanner.

Additional information

Status: Temporary, full time
Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and experience
Work Shift: 8am-4pm (Flexible)
Work Site: CMR Research: Glen Site (Royal Victoria Hospital)
