Business Program Instructor
A Designated Learning Institution (DLI), Ace Acumen Academy offers our International Students a recognized Ontario public college credential from our academic course offerings.
The College seeks a professional Instructor to ensure the consistency and quality of program implementation, according to mandated College curriculum standards.
Candidates must be flexible to teach days, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
This position is expected to work on-site at the College’s campuses; it is NOT a remote job.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, prepare and deliver quality classroom instruction based on the approved curriculum
- Timely completion and submission of all grades and marking of all tests, examinations and assignments; ability to meet deadlines, work independently, resolve problems and make decisions per policies and procedures
- Provide a positive, enriching learning environment for students by using holistic and career-oriented teaching methods that accommodate students’ diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, experiences and individual learning styles
Must have knowledge of:
- Accounting Concepts
- Macroeconomics
- Statistical Concepts
- Supply Chain Management
- Planning Business Strategy
- Business Law
- Cost Accounting
- Advertising Management
- Mathematics of Personal Finance
- General business skills i.e. keyboarding, computer proficiency
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree / Diploma in Business Administration is mandatory
- Bachelor of Education and/or a Master’s Degree in a related field will be considered an asset
- Minimum 3 years’ of recent (within the past three years) and relevant professional experience
- 2-3 years of demonstrated experience at a post-secondary level in a college or university; Microsoft and Google Classroom experience an asset
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience working with international students
- Flexibility in adapting to change and in participating in consultative decision-making processes, resolving problems and making decisions per policies and procedures
- Knowledge of adult learning principles
- Knowledge of Private Career Colleges and Public Private Partnerships is an asset.
- Candidates from related positions, in a related field, possessing a relevant PhD, Bachelor of Education and/or a Master’s Degree are welcome to apply.
Candidates selected for an interview may be required to provide a 10 minute teaching demonstration. Details will be provided when interviews are scheduled.
