Westrans Company is currently looking for a motivated red seal automotive mechanic to join our Service team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Inspect and diagnose faults and malfunctions of mechanical units
– Adjust, repair or replace mechanical units or components
– Test and adjust repaired or replaced systems
– Perform scheduled maintenance services
– Review/complete work orders and discuss with manager
– Complete reports and communicate with manager on work performed and concerns
– Work with our team to support daily needs of the shop
Requirements:
– Licensed automotive mechanic
– 5 years of automotive mechanic experience
– Valid Driver’s License
– Steel-toed safety boots
– Punctual
– Excellent communication skills
Hours of employment are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with overtime as required. Westrans offers a comprehensive group benefits plan after three months of employment as well as a company matched pension plan after two years of employment. We also offer reimbursements for tools and safety boots up to an annual maximum.
