Job Title: Associate Producer, CTV Montreal, Bell Media
Job Status: Regular-Ful time
Salary: Collective Agreement Unifor 614M, Grade 12
Work Conditions: 40 hours per week (including evenings and weekends). Overtime as required
Research, write and edit content for broadcast and digital platforms
Write comprehensive editorial background briefs
May be required to line up news programs
May be required to perform on-air or go into the field
Adhere to editorial guidelines and policies on accuracy and ethics
Other duties as assigned
Story generating experience
Proven writing skills
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain creativity in a high pressure, deadline oriented environment
Sound editorial judgement
Excellent knowledge of local news and current affairs
Team player, strong communication skills; highly organized and self-motivated
Show Producing (lineup) experience would be an asset
BA in Journalism or equivalent, minimum 5 years working in a major market newsroom
Bilingualism is required (English and French): Interactions with English speaking customers or people outside of Quebec
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
