This appointment has the specific focus of digital storytelling in health and wellness. Ideally, applicants have a transdisciplinary focus within this specialization. The appointment will ideally commence January 1, 2026, or at a mutually agreeable date.

Candidates must have a PhD in nursing or a related discipline

Applicants will be early career academics who are establishing a research program using digital storytelling (DST) in health and wellness. Applicants will be health researchers who specialize in community engagement, health research, and DST facilitation and training in both academic and community settings. They will also have considerable experience utilizing both DST and other documentary-style films in educational and advocacy contexts with community organizations. Ideally, applicants will focus on DST within educational, advocacy, research, and therapeutic contexts.

Candidates should have previous professional and teaching experience, an emerging publication record, and promising capability in undergraduate and graduate-level teaching and graduate supervision. Strong ties to community, health partners, and health/wellness related agencies at local, provincial, national, and international levels is an asset.
