Monge-Ampere measure, Alexandrov solutions and their basic properties. Dirichlet problem: uniqueness and existence, C1 regularity in 2-D. Sections and normalized solutions, strict convexity of solutions, Liouville theorem. Interior C1,alpha estimates, geometry of sections, interior W2,p and C2,alpha regularity, Wang’s counterexamples. Further results on the Monge-Ampere equation. Optimal transport with quadratic cost, Boltzmann-Shannon regularized optimal transport, convergence to optimal transport. Sinkhorn’s algorithm and convergence.
