At eCycle Solutions, an AMS Tech’s primary duty is to act as a player coach through sharing product and process knowledge; demonstrating team member skills building ability; all while performing general labour duties. Additional key duties include ensuring data security, safe and efficient environment through timely communication of issues and opportunities with their team members and supervisor.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Production Management:

· Update AMS tracker sheet and coordinate with logistics for incoming material- track each load from receiving up to shipping

· Enter all related data into SAP ( weight, number of pieces, qualification, pallet details)

· Follow SOWs for each specific customer on IMS link

· Determine the resale assets and the scrap material for each load based on eCycle Catalog

· Prepare an assessment report sheet for sales department

· Download all reports from BLANCO based on load, customer and serial number

· Report to inside sale once loads are completed ( BOL, receiving scale ticket, pallet details, etc)

· Perform off site job at customer site for data capture, packing and dismantling their assets

· Upgrade computer systems to increase the resale value

· Update the VADIS portal and send the report to inside sale department

· Prepare MBFs for specific loads and report to inside sale department

· Make all assets ready for shipment based on bill of sale issued by sales department

Effective Communication:

· Daily communication with Plant Manager, Lead Hands, other supervisors to ensure timely and accurate transfer of knowledge.

· Effectively communicate goals, and required operational results to employees through daily/weekly meetings

Health & Safety:

· Responsible for health & safety of team members and identifying safety concerns

· Participate in health and safety initiatives relevant to work center(s) ie. incident investigations, corrective actions and preventative measures


· Develop and continually improve housekeeping standards

Continuous Improvement:

· Create an environment which encourages, supports, and recognizes new ideas/ initiatives and communicating them to the supervisor

· Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, such as implementing new processes etc.

· Engaged in Continuous Improvement – responsible for executing improvements to the work center based on direction from Supervisor

· Willingness to learn new procedures and to accept tasks as assigned by supervisors

Education and Experience Requirements:

· 1–2-year minimum experience of handling computer equipment

· Advanced technical knowledge of operating system, data backup and wiping software (SAP, ERP Systems)

· Willingness to lead employees within competing and/or changing priorities with tight delivery times, while still maintaining attention to detail and quality

· Able to prioritize, delegate and manage multiple projects and tasks at a time

· Demonstrates some communication skills, creates an engaged work team

· A self-starter with proven ability to get things done

· Must pass criminal record check

· Preference will be given to those with shipping & receiving experience

· Valid drivers license to perform AMS pick up’s

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.50 per hour
