Hiring Unit:

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the Dance Instructor, will be responsible for designing and leading dance group lessons to patrons who have registered for the course(s) ranging from beginners to advanced levels.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan and lead dance group lessons.
  • Adapt lessons to the specific groups – ranging from beginners to advanced.
  • As required, modify moves, techniques for patrons who have limitations.
  • Address any emergency issues requiring attention to supervisor or security.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
  • Coaching experience and/or coaching certification (level 1) is required.
  • Knowledgeable in the art of dance
